Halloween House Competition

The KS3 Halloween creative writing competition has now come to a close and the top three compositions have been chosen.

Firstly, the HouseLeads would like to say a huge congratulations to every student who entered. Every single story and poem was read and enjoyed by us and we absolutely loved them all. It was clear that much effort was invested into each entry.

Every single student who entered has received one achievement point for contributing, which adds to each student’s house-point total: the entry points look like this:
Eagles: 18
Hawks: 2
Kites: 23
The top three, who will receive prizes are …
  • In 3rd Place with 5 bonus house points: Thomas Whitely (Hawks)
  • In 2nd Place with 10 bonus house points: Noah Codron (Eagles)
  • In 1st Place with 25 bonus house points: Alex Serrano-White (Kites)
The winners were officially announced on Thursday 19th October.
The website wishes to thank the Year 8 students who came up with this excellent House competition: Olivia Eggington and Lily Powell, both from 8K2.
Well done to all the entrants and thank you to all the staff who gave of their time to read all the entries.
