Young Enterprise
Ms Marisa Broadbent, Centre Lead for Young Enterprise, has spearheaded the launch of Young Enterprise for Year 7 and there has been a significant level of interest from students.
The next step, for all interested students is to sign up for their participation in the project, scheduled for Friday 25th April, during break 2.
Students, who are interested, need to register in a group or as an individual on the attached MS Form with their details https://forms.office.com/e/kHnhspzkbi
To begin, students require a starting pot of £10, which is split amongst members. (Not £10 each person – just £10 per group or individual entered). Should there be difficulty obtaining the start-up fund of £10, the Young Enterprise staff need to know.
Before the 25th April, students must have an idea of what they can source and sell. As they only have their £10 start-up fund, it is imperative they research what they can buy for that amount of money and what the product can be sold for. Materials and goods can be via donations or be cost-free. (For example, collecting second hand books to sell).
