A brand new writing competition has been launched by Marlow Energy Group (MEG). All GMS students are invited to enter, engaged, hopefully, by the climate change problem, for action is
needed to be undertaken by all of us: individually, as a community, as a nation and internationally. A secondary enticement is the generous monetary prizes being offered for the best three pieces of writing.
The question to be addressed in the piece of writing is, “What do you think are the most effective ways of reducing the impact of climate change?”
Marlow Energy Group (MEG) is a non-profit Community Benefit Society with the aim of reducing Marlow’s footprint through promoting the generation of renewable energies and helping residents, schools, organisations, religious institutions and businesses to reduce their energy consumption.
We have had students enter this competition before and become winners, (see below), so GMS students have a track record of being passionate and involved with the effects of climate change on communities. We wish all this year’s entrants the best of luck.
