Year 7 Parent/Carers’ Evening

Mr Wilson invites the parents and carers of Year 7 to their first virtual online Parents’ and Carers’ Evening, on Thursday 2nd December 2021, between 3.45 pm and 7.30 pm.

This is an important evening: a chance for parents, carers and teachers to meet formally to discuss how students have settled in and the progress they are making.

The Booking System

• The school has an easy-to-use online appointment booking system. This allows appointments with teachers to be made, followed by an email confirmation of the times booked.
• The on-line appointments allow a total of 8 appointments.
• Appointments can be made from Monday 22nd November at 6 pm until Monday 29th November at 6 pm.
• In keeping with the hours of other parent/carers evenings, bookings are available from 4.30 pm until 7.30 pm.
• Bookings can be secured from 7 pm on Tuesday 19th October until 7 pm on Monday 1st November.
• Should you be unable to make an appointment with a member of staff, add your name to the waiting list for that member of staff; if an appointment for the evening becomes available, the member of staff will make contact with you to discuss the progress of your son or daughter
• Please email teachers directly if you are not able to meet with them and would like to discuss your child’s progress.
• Should changes need to be made after this date, please contact Mrs Murray at cmurray@gms.bucks.sch.uk.

On 2nd December, GMS asks that all parents and carers ensure they have a good connection to the internet and a microphone on their laptop or computer. Alternatively, a mobile phone can be used. All meetings are conducted through a web browser so there is no app to download or install.
