A prominent mental health practitioner, Dr Lucy Russell (Everlief’s clinical lead), has developed some brand new self-help resources to support parents and carers with children who are struggling. The resources below offer strategies to support a child, at a time when the demand on local mental health services is stretched.
For all Ages
- Theyarethefuture is a brand new parent/carer support site:
- Find at https://www.theyarethefuture.co.uk/ There are articles on a wide range of mental health issues.
- “Reset Your Child’s Wellbeing in 2021!” is a free 3-day mini-course.

- This is for parents and carers of children with stress, anger or anxiety. Three fundamental areas of children’s wellbeing is explored. When parents/carers sign up they receive an email each day for three days. Each email links to a video and a PDF, to give guidance through the mini-course.
- For parents of children aged 9-12 (Although the learning is equally valuable for those just outside this age range.)
- “End Emotional Explosions!” is a free parent masterclass.
- “Calm and Connected” is a full online course.

- The course takes 35 days to complete, with participates spending an hour or so on each day. It has videos and support ideas based around Everlief’s SUPER acronym. The cost is £149.
