Malala Yousafzai Writing Competition

The librarians and the English Department at GMS are promoting ‘The 500 Word Malala Yousafzai Writing Competition’. It’s aim is to celebrate and empower young people to self-publish their creative writing, as such it is a unique creative writing initiative. Students will be the ones to vote; they will read the contributions of others and vote for their favourite pieces through an interactive voting system on the Connected Creatives platform. The 2020 winners will be the submissions with the highest number of peer votes.

The 500 words can be of any genre; it can be on any subject; and can have a front cover to illustrate and complement their work. Moreover, participants can submit as many original pieces as
they wish.
