Jeans for Genes Day: 18/8/20

Friday 18th September 2020 is ‘Jeans for Genes‘ day and GMS invites students and staff to wear jeans to school. Students will be required to be in uniform, except for jeans, which can be worn instead of their usual school trousers or skirt. Students will be expected to wear the correct school footwear with their jeans.

GMS asks that all who participate make a voluntary contribution of £1 or more, via the ParentPay shop. The donation link will be active from Monday 14th September to Friday 18th September. The money raised will go directly to the Jeans for Genes charity.

This charity works incredibly hard to fund research into genetic disorders and provide support for families who are affected by a genetic disorder. Over successive years students and staff have raised a substantial amount of money for this important and influential national children’s charity, for which they are extremely grateful.
