Yr 7 Induction Morning 2nd Sept 2020 9.00 -12 noon

Miss Tuddenham and her team have been working conscientiously to make 2nd September a great first day for our new Year 7 students.

The students, dressed in their new school uniform, will be welcomed into school at the Bobmore Lane entrance at 9 am. The morning will be packed with activities to help them acclimatise to the school buildings, the location of the teaching blocks, and where the all important canteen is. All students will spend some time with their form tutor, so they need to know the name of their form tutor. The time in form will give them opportunity to meet new friends, with whom they will be sharing form time and lessons throughout the year.

Students are required to bring school equipment with them. Those who have ordered the equipment pack through the school will be given this and will take it home at the end of the day. PE kit will not be required.

Students will experience being in the canteen and will be given some food and a drink, but we suggest all students bring in a bottle of water and an extra snack for break time.

Please would all parents and carers provide their child with tissues and hand sanitiser.

Due to social distancing, all parents and carers are asked not to come onto the site.

GMS are delighted with this year’s intake and are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with you all.
