Final: Inclusive Zone Basketball

An excited GMS basketball team have qualified for the Inclusive Zone Basketball National Finals in Nottingham on Tuesday 4th February 2020. The IZB National Finals involve teams from secondary schools selected from around the country. This unique sport is played on courts split in to zones, which enables wheelchair
basketball players and basketball players to play together in a squad.
Our team will leave at 6 am from the Redgrave Centre and travel to the venue by minibus. Arrival back to school in the evening will be at approximately 5 pm, but may be adjusted depending on results during the day.
This is a great opportunity for the students to participate in a new sport, organised by British Wheelchair Basketball, and we wish all the the competitors the very best of luck.
