Community Youth Ventures (CIC)

GMS have been contacted by Community Youth Ventures (CIC), which is offering a new and positive youth group experience in the High Wycombe area. They are based in the Roundhouse Youth Centre, in High Wycombe town centre.

CIC are offering three tailor made services to different interest groups, each will take place on different days.

For those aged 11-14, the ‘Positive Youth Wyc-enders’ takes place on the first Saturday of every month and aims to engage, support and inspire young people through a range of activities and workshops.

In addition, every Thursday, CIC offer the chance to join ‘Positive Youth Productionz’, which is aimed at those of 12, or over. It offers young people the chance to use music, media and creative arts. Experimentation is encouraged, hopefully allowing skills to develop, while inspiring new talent.

Finally, a group called, ‘Empowerment’ is aimed at those aged 13 and over. This project hopes to develop life skills, personal and social competences as well as positive behaviours, this group project takes place every Monday.
