Yr 10 & Crowne Plaza

On Wednesday 23^rd October, our Year 10 Hospitality & Catering students were invited to visit the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Marlow, supported by Mrs Cadogan and Miss Young. Whilst there, students were given a tour around the hotel including the newly refurbished bar, kitchens and function rooms.

The Crown Plaza’s Head Chef met with the students and spoke to them about his experiences working as Head Chef at the Crowne Plaza. He openly displayed his passion for his job. He was asked many questions from students about career paths into the industry, working hours and perks of the job. We were lucky enough to be given a demonstration from the restaurant’s pastry chef, who made and shared his secret tips on makings a delicious white chocolate fudge. As expected, this went down very well with all the students!

We are pleased to say that the students were very well behaved, enthusiastic in their approach and have expressed the wish to maintain a relationship with the Crowne Plaza and General Manager Nick Parry.
