18/09/19 Yr 8 Information Evening

On Wednesday 18th September 2019, Mrs S Wheeler is holding a Parent’s Information Evening for all parents and carers of Year 8. It will be held in the school hall from 6pm – 6.45 pm.
The purpose of the evening is to give relevant and up to date information. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session, although please be advised that individual subject teachers will not be present.
Meetings like this have proved extremely valuable and informative in previous years, as it gives an overview of Year 8, including all the important dates for your diary.
It would be appreciated if at least one adult from each family is at the meeting so that everyone hears the same information. It is not appropriate for students to attend this meeting.
Mrs Wheeler believes her year group,with the help of parents and carers, has the potential to be a positive, enthusiastic, hard-working cohort of students.
GMS asks that the reply slip, on the letter sent out, is returned to from tutors, to help with the logistics of the evening.
