UK Maths Trust Challenge

On Thursday 7th February, GMS students will be sitting the Intermediate Maths Challenge.
 
The Maths Challenge is the UK’s biggest national maths competitions, and every year thousands of students opt to enter. The questions are brain teasers that require candidates to think in ways that conventional examinations do not. 
 
GMS hopes that all our candidates, sitting the paper, benefit from the experience; they are wished the best of luck. 
 
The United Kingdom Maths Trust, the body that organises the challenge, do publish supporting materials that those fascinated by mathematics can engage with.  Our teachers are making themselves available to answer specific queries, we encourage students to ask if there is anything they are not sure about.
