Amnesty Youth Group Sponsored Silence on Friday

The Amnesty Youth Group are conducting a sponsored silence this Friday.  They are giving up speech in solidarity with people around the world who are intimidated, imprisoned or murdered for speaking out against human rights abuses.

Amnesty is an important world wide pressure group, it is to the credit of Mr Philpott that there is a support network in GMS.

To raise money, GMS ask that the following students are sponsored:  Saskia Lablans, Tommy Parker, Ali Ahmed from Year 11; Amelia Hunter, Giana Soomal, Olivia Chillingworth and Katherine Mansfield from Year 9. (The drama lessons are exempted due to assessment.) Please see the students for sponsorship details.
