FoGMS Annual General Meeting, an important event in the school’s calendar, takes place on Monday 16th September at 6.30pm, in T4. All members of the school community are welcome.
FoGMS go from strength to strength, and do so because they have the help and support of everyone in the school community.
Many members of FoGMS joined when their children were in KS3 and now feel it is time to retire as their children leave the school, so there will be vacancies on the committee come September; being a part of FoGMS is important, worthwhile and hugely appreciated. For new parents and carers it is a way of meeting new people and becoming involved with the school in an important capacity. If a fully-signed-up member of the committee is not an option, FoGMS do have a band of supporting individuals, who turn out to help at major events: their work and commitment is greatly appreciated, too.
GMS cannot express adequately enough how much FoGMS is appreciated by all the students, teachers and governors. Their hard work, diligence and imaginative initiatives have reaped funds that have benefited the students in the school so very, very much.
