Indoor Rowing Championships

The British Indoor Rowing Championships is to be held on Saturday the 9th December and some of GMS rowers are participating. The recent rowing challenge, held at lunch time in the school, discovered some Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 talents.

The British Indoor Rowing Championships are held at the Lee Valley Park Olympic velodrome and the
event is open to all members of the public, so spectators are welcome. This year Bradley Wiggins, Tour de France winner, and several members of the Great Britain rowing team are due to compete on the day in
various events.

GMSBC have selected students for entry in the relay events and in the solo races. GMS wish those participating all the very best on the 9th December.
