Yr 8 D&T Trip to The Design Museum London

The Design and Technology Department are delighted to offer all Year 8 students the opportunity to visit the Design Museum in London. The trip will include an exciting hands on workshop session in the Design Museum, a visit to the Designer Maker User gallery and a primary research task in the London Eye area.

The price is just £18.00, to cover all the activities and the cost of coach travel.
The trip will be running on the following dates:

• Wednesday 11th October 2017
• Wednesday 15th November 2017
• Wednesday 22nd November 2017

Once numbers have been finalised, parents and carers will receive an email via ParentMail notifying the date that your child has been allocated and further arrangements for the day.

In order to secure a place, payment must be made on ParentPay by Thursday 5th October. Also, a consent/medical form has to be completed and returned to the school by Thursday 5th October.

Students will be expected to wear full school uniform and will need to take a packed lunch. We will depart from Great Marlow at 8.45 am and should return to school by 5 pm. This will mean that arrangements will have to be made for your child to be picked up from school.

GMS hopes that all Year 8s participate, as this is viewed as a valuable learning experience.
