Girls’ Football

Traditionally, football has been regarded as a boys’ game, but at GMS there are a number of girls to be seen at football training. Many of these girls have real talent, raising the prospect of successful wins after half term.

The Girls’ Active initiative, which makes sport a focus for improvement across all curriculum areas, has focused on the Year 7 cohort. There has been a fantastic turn out each week. As a result, Girls’ Active wish to recruit new leaders. Any girl who wishes to be involved, please contact Miss Muttitt as soon as possible. Girls’ Active opens to other year groups after half term.
