FOOTBALL B Team Music v Drama

FINAL SCORE: DRAMA 4 – MUSIC 2

Over 30 students took part in the annual match between drama and music. Music who are managed by Mr Beveridge took on drama managed by Mr Ross. Mr Clarke, who recognised the need for a teacher able to run, also played a half for each team.

The Year 9 team captained by Ben Appleton helped drama and the Year 10 B team captained by Jack Quartermaine helped music.

A tough match ensued with drama finally coming out on top and winning the trophy for the first time. Unfortunately, Mr Ross was accused of time wasting but the real reason was that he could not move after 20 minutes!

GMS thank all the students who took part and to the spectators, who turned up to support the competitors. Also thanks go to the PE department for supporting the B team initiative, which is really just about students playing football without any pressure (apart from this match). The students enjoyed it, they have an improved confidence both on and off the field.
