Life Pretty Muddy Race

The Wobbly Warhols got a bit muddy!

Last weekend Kat, Charlie, Frankie, Julia, Abbie, Elaine and Natasha, collectively known as “The Wobbly Warhols” completed the Race for Life Pretty Muddy course at Windsor in aid of Cancer Research. They started the 5k run rather cleaner than they finished as there were several obstacles to navigate along the way! All obstacles involved mud or muddy water that had to be run, climbed or jumped through. At the end there was a big inflatable slide and a pool of muddy water to splash straight into before hitting the bottom. You can see from the photographs that some were worse off than others.

Everyone had a great time. Everyone should be proud of the fact the whole course was completed at a run: no-one walked any of it. So the hours of training in The Redgrave Sports Centre must have helped a little!

Aside from enjoying themselves, the team completed this run in aid of Cancer Research and have, to date, raised nearly £900. A big thank you to all those who have supported the team and donated money.
