Summer Music Concert – 1st July

The music department wish to invite you to their summer concert on Wednesday 1st July at 7pm in the main school hall. The concert features pupils from all year groups currently in school and has a wide range of pieces. The school band are playing Uptown Funk and the junior choir are performing songs by Echosmith, Olly Murs and others. There are many soloists and small groups performing works including: Adele’s Skyfall, Bizet’s Toreador song, Armstrong’s, What a Wonderful World and Flashlight from ‘Pitch Perfect 2’. The evening will finish with a medley of songs from the film ‘Toy Story’ performed by all of the pupils involved.

There is no charge to attend the concert, but there is the opportunity to give a donation to the music department if you wish to do so.

The Friends of Great Marlow are arranging refreshments during the interval and have very kindly purchased the department a new sound system to be used in the concert. If you have any questions, please email Mrs Brown on bbrown18@bucksgfl.org.uk
