The Sound of Music in Marlow

The GMS Music Department have serenaded the festive Christmas late night shoppers for many years now. Their rendition of old favourites never fails to please and adds an extra Christmas dimension to Marlow High Street.

Mr Beveridge and his team of players stood outside Liston Court in a ceremony that started the late night shopping event. Thankfully, the weather was cold but clement enough for the musicians to be able to play their instruments. The singers’ voices resounded with the sounds of Silent Night, O Come all Ye Faithful, Away in a Manger and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. GMS were joined by singers from Holy Trinity School, and their efforts were appreciated.

The evening was declared a resounding success and Mr Beveridge thanks all those involved for engaging so enthusiastically in rehearsals and on the night of the event.
