Thank You – FoGMS Raise £13,200

FoGMS wishes to formally thank everyone who has contributed to a fantastic fund-raising year: they raised an incredible £13,200.

This money has been pledged to provide a new school minibus. So far they have committed to two years of the lease and hope to be able to provide funds for a further three years. The new minibus is currently being used and is sporting the new FoGMS logo. To the joy of the students, FoGMS has purchased an additional 20 outdoor tables with seats so those able to sit and eat outside has increased. They have also provided the music department with funds to replace and repair some instruments.

None of this would have been possible without the support of parents, carers, staff, students and members of the wider community: THANK YOU.

The end of this academic year sees some key members of the committee stepping down after many years of service. A huge dept of gratitude goes to William White, Audrie Moorhouse and Julie Lyons. It is testament to the rewards that can be gained by becoming a member of the committee that both Audrie and Julie have not had children at the school for some years now, yet continued to be active members of the committee.  All three of these long standing members will be sadly missed.
