Year 6 Induction Day

On Tuesday 4^th July, GMS warmly welcomed its new intake for 2017. For all concerned it was a fantastic day. The students were introduced to their tutor and the students who will share the same tutor group as them. This was a time for students, from different primary schools, to meet and make new friends.

There was an enthusiastic buzz in the school, as present students, seeing the new intake, reflected back on their own induction day.

In the evening there was a parents and carers meeting. Claire King introduced herself and her team, and answered questions. Those attending gave very positive feedback.

Miss King, her tutors and the rest of the staff are looking forward to meeting them all again in September as the Class of 2017.

There was much behind the scenes organisation that took place to make the day the success it was, and a huge thank you goes to all involved.
