New Head Boy, Head Girl and Senior Prefects Selected.

Congratulations to Max Boreham and Stephanie Howey who were selected as Head Boy and Head Girl for Great Marlow School 2017/18; in addition, well done to Jack Preece and Zoe Stout who will be acting as their deputies for the forthcoming academic year.

The sixth form team were impressed by both the volume of applicants for the role and the quality of the application letters. 70 students applied and, with difficulty, were whittled down to 13 students all of whom were offered an interview. Probing questions were asked, designed to find out about their leadership, communication, initiative and project management skills. Again, the ability of all interviewees to respond to rapid questions in a stressful environment must be commended.

A team of Senior Prefects was also selected. The Senior Prefects will have a wide range of whole school responsibilities that they will deliver in small teams, positively impacting the experiences of their peers in the school.
