Ms Marisa Broadbent has been working with GMS’s Year 7 students, over the past few weeks, on a Young Enterprise initiative for KS3 called the 10X Challenge.
This initiative runs for only one month and involves students starting a business with just £10, so you can imagine how challenging it has been for them!.
Ms Broadbent is delighted to report that quite a few individuals and groups of students have become involved and are preparing an event where their merchandise will be sold on Monday 13th May and Tuesday 14th May from 8.15 am to 8.55 am in the Library. The products on offer are handmade Macrames, caps, socks, books and much more.
GMS wishes our budding Yr 7 entrepreneurs all the very best in their first taste of building a profitable business.
