The Year 11 students attended the Bucks Skills Show this week. This has become an annual event that the students and staff always appreciate being able to attend.
The forum was spacious and allowed students to visit many stands to learn about different pathways, post-16.
The stands offered much information and advice on the key industry sectors and what they provide in terms of employment and advancement. Employers are always willing to give their time to interested visitors and are often searching for young people who represent the future talent of their business.
In addition, there were high-profile guest speakers who offered inspiration by recounting their career journeys and offering insider tips.
Importantly, there was the opportunity to speak with universities, colleges, and apprenticeship providers, who have abundant knowledge about the next steps, post-GCSE.
Staff and students enjoyed their day and benefited from the experience.
