GMS wishes to recruit invigilators, who can offer reliability, alongside flexible working hours. The examination schedule of an academic year includes the public examinations in May and June, plus mock examinations in November, December, January and March.
Invigilators will assist the Special Educational Needs Department in ensuring the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) rules and regulations are adhered to during exams.
Duties include supervising students taking public and internal examinations; assisting in preparing exam rooms; and distributing, and collecting, exam papers in accordance with the JCQ regulations. Invigilator and safeguarding training will be given.
