At Great Marlow School, we are delighted with the fabulous results achieved by our Year 11 students this year. They should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved since beginning their GCSE course.
More than 230 students were entered for a vast range of GCSE qualifications, with an impressive 16% of all grades being awarded at 9 – 7, nearly 55% at 9 – 5 and 74% at 9 – 4.
Kevin Ford, Executive Headteacher, said, ‘I am incredibly proud of all our Year 11 and the staff who have supported them. Our students have been ambitious, resourceful, and shown great resilience in achieving this set of great results. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the parents and carers of this cohort for their consistent support of their children and the school, without whom these results would not have been possible.
Jen Webster, Director of Learning for Year 11, said, ‘I would like to congratulate all the students on completing their GCSE examinations and receiving a great set of results. It has been a long haul, and I am proud of the way that they conducted themselves throughout the two years. It gives me great pleasure, and a huge sense of pride, to see the students receive the rewards of their efforts. I wish them good luck in the next stage of their educational journey, either at Great Marlow or other destinations that they have chosen.’
Congratulations Year 11.
