Literary Festival: Spelling Bee

As part of the GMS’s Literary Festival Week, there was a Spelling Bee competition. On Thursday 2nd March it was KS3; on Friday 3rd March KS4.

Audience members watched while their team players participated in spelling words accurately. It was a great competition.

In KS3, there were ten participants from Eagle House, three from Hawk House and two from Kite House.
The winners were as below:
  • Marie Davies Year 9 Eagles (14 pts)
  • Noah Codron Year 7 Eagles (14 pts)
  • Addy Lancaster Year 9 Eagles (13 pts)
  • Freya Hobdell-Williams Year 9 Eagles (13 pts)

Well done to all these winners.

In KS4 the following students won the competition:
  • Mohsin Rob Eagles Y10 (13 Points)
  • Chloe Shepard Kites Y10 (13 Points)
  • Miles Fish Hawks Y10 (13 points)
  • Olivia Jones Hawks Y11 (13 Points)
