Sewing Bee D&T
Miss Addy runs a Sewing Bee club on behalf of the Design and Technology; it takes place every Wednesday. The Sewing Bee has hosted an array of projects including a House Flag competition, sock animals, cross stitching and the latest project is a Kimono.Miss Addy says, “It is brilliant to feel the enthusiasm that the students show during our sessions, as well as seeing their confidence and skill grow as the year unfolds.”
The Design and Technology Department customarily runs a fundraiser to pay for equipment not fully covered by the school budget: such as resources for extracurricular activities. If you can, please could you support this cause by donating; just a small amount makes all the difference.
