Yr12 Parents’&Carers’ Evening

Mr Hollyman invites all Year 12 parents and carers to a virtual online Parents’ Evening on Thursday 17th February 2022. In keeping with the hours of other parent/carers evenings it will run from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.  

Especially, in this time of restricted access to school, this is an important event that will provide an opportunity to meet, remotely, with your child’s subject teachers and discuss their progress towards their formal examinations. For parents and carers of Year 12 students, this the first opportunity to find out how your child has settled into their A-level and BTEC studies; for Year 13 parents and carers the event will provide an opportunity to find out about your child’s progress in their final, crucial year of education at Great Marlow School.

The school has an easy-to-use online appointment booking system: once appointment times are chosen, an email confirms the times. All parents and carers who have booked online will have received confirmation of times. Should changes be needed, please contact the school office.

Please make sure there is good connection to the internet and a microphone on the laptop/computer being used.  Alternatively, perhaps an easier way is to connect using a mobile phone. All meetings are conducted through a web browser so there is no app to download or install. The link used to book the meetings is the same link required to access the parents’ evening.

All teachers will be conducting the meetings from school. Some teachers may choose to communicate using the audio function only. It is important that all taking part are conscious of the environment the meeting is being held in.

Please be aware that the meetings are time sensitive and will cut off abruptly once the allotted time is reached; this is a function of the software and cannot be controlled by participants.
