3 Rowers-GB Trials
Congratulations to Hugo Loretto, Tom Wiles and Emily Downing, who were amongst the top scullers in the UK to be invited to the November trials, in Boston Lincolnshire. Emily was one of only a handful of Year 11s to be invited to this trial. The trial race is 5 km in length.
Mr Murison says, “While there is still a long way to go, all three should be proud of their achievement and have new targets for their results in February trials.”
This is such great news for our three rowers but also for the whole squad. GMS thanks all parents carers and coaches for their dedication to all the students who opt to take part in this amazing sport.
