Cop26 Achievement or not?

The town of Marlow has responded to the climate crisis in a positive and proactive way through the work of the Marlow Energy Group (MEG). Indeed, as part of Marlow’s climate crisis mission, GMS became involved  – it held it’s first school’s Eco Conference in September, and the subsequent building of the Eco Warriors’ team has been a success.

MEG’s strategy is to reduce man-made emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, which is  consistent with the Town Council’s ambition for Marlow: to become, by 2030, net zero carbon, a target based on science. It is a big challenge, but obtainable.

On Zoom, at 19.00, on Monday the 22nd of November MEG has organised a talk on Cop26  called, ‘What was achieved and what wasn’t?’ It will be fronted by Martin Fry, who has much expertise in the field.
