Daffodils: Eco Warriors
As part of GMS’s new Eco-drive, the Eco-warriors and KS3 have united in a project to plant a hundred daffodils in support of Mental Health Awareness week.

On 11th October, the students started on the project. |
| Why daffodils?
The colour yellow symbolises laughter, hope and sunshine. Daffodils were also recognised by William Wordsworth as a symbol of new beginnings. |

From October 11th, two students from every tutor group joined the Eco Warriors to plant daffodil bulbs, ensuring that this became a truly school-wide project.
The site will burst into colour when they bloom. |
