One Can Trust

One Can Trust is a charity, based in High Wycombe that supports vulnerable people and their families with food donations. GMS has worked with the charity for many years and have become one of the key hubs for the collection of food. We are very grateful to the wider GMS community, which always responds to requests and has made a huge difference to many lives through their generosity: as the photographs show.

Now it is time for the Harvest Collection.

This autumn, One Can are asking for a range of food items they are in short supply of:

fresh fruit and veg
tinned ham, corned beef
tinned mixed veg
tinned tomatoes
tinned fish
                                                            tinned halal meat
pasta
rice (500g)
biscuits
healthy cereals
UHT milk
cooking sauces
baked beans
deodorants
toilet rolls
nappies (sizes 4 – 7 only)
baby formula milk stages 1 and 2washing up liquid

One Can appreciates the gift of fresh fruit and vegetables, but please could they be well within their sell buy date, as it takes time to distribute them.

The charity is supporting 59% more people than in pre-Covid times, which is a substantial burden if they do not receive plenty of donations.

GMS willingly acts as a food hub for the One Can Trust; so please send items to the reception area, from where they will be collected by the charity.
