Wood4Trees Project Update

Miss Bawden is delighted that our Year 8s have successfully potted 227 trees to support the 1,000,000 Wood4Trees project.
Most students have chosen to take their potted trees home to care for until Autumn 2022 when they will be strong enough to be planted into the local area to create woodland.
Some students have mentioned that they are unable to care for their tree at home, so these trees will be offered up to foster care with members of our school community 🙂
IMPORTANT CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Because our pot sizes are small, the soil may dry out quickly so the trees require watering every other day, allowing for drainage underneath the pot.
In very hot or dry periods that it should be once a day.
