Holocaust Artefacts Yr 9

Holocaust Artefacts.

Some Year 9 classes have had the opportunity to create an artefact that they would place in a museum that would symbolise the Holocaust for them.  The students have been incredibly creative and have produced amazing quality artefacts that show great reflection and responsibility for an important event in history. Diaries, memory boxes and Henryk Ross’s discovered photos of the Holocaust, have been recreated by the students.  They have created their own versions of cattle trucks, gas chambers and extermination camps that took so many innocent lives.  The symbols of persecution including the Star of David and striped pyjamas have been embedded into their creations. It was an absolute pleasure to witness their hard work and creativity.
