Miss Miles, in the Geography Department, has invited some GMS A-level students to attend a virtual student summit on Thursday 10th December. To support World Human Rights Day, there will be a streamed live talk hosted by the charity SINCE 9/11.
The virtual student summit aims to educate students about the causes, events and consequences of the 9/11 tragedy. Led by a panel of subject specialists, including British historian Sir Simon Schama, the summit will provide our A-level geographers and lawyers with invaluable insights that should build and consolidate their understanding of Human Rights, a key component of their A-level course.
For more information on the summit, please visit SINCE 9/11’s official website https://since911.com/our-work/news/virtual-student-summit.
GMS thank Miss Miles for organising this event.
