Year 12 & 13 Parents’ Evening

Mr Hollyman invites all Year 12 and Year 13 parents and carers to a virtual online Parents’ Evening on Wednesday 4th November 2020. In keeping with the hours of other parent/carers evenings it will run from 4.30pm until 7.30pm. Booking can be made from 6.00pm on Tuesday 20th October.

Especially, in this time of restricted access to school, this is an important event that will provide an opportunity to meet, remotely, with your child’s subject teachers and discuss their progress towards their formal examinations. For parents and carers of Year 12 students, this the first opportunity to find out how your child has settled into their A-level and BTEC studies; for Year 13 parents and carers the event will provide an opportunity to find out about your child’s progress in their final, crucial year of education at Great Marlow School.

The school has an easy-to-use online appointment booking system: once appointment times are chosen, an email confirms the times. The online booking is open from today, Tuesday 20th at 6.00pm until Monday 2nd November at 6.00pm. Should you wish to make any changes after this date please contact the school office.

Please make sure their is good connection to the internet and a microphone on the laptop/computer being used.  Alternatively, perhaps an easier way, is to connect using a mobile phone. All meetings are done through a web browser so there is no app to download or install. The website you join the meetings will be the same link used to book the meetings (see below).

All teachers will be conducting the meetings from school. Some teachers may choose to communicate using the audio function only. It is important that all taking part are conscious of the environment the meeting is being held in.

Please be aware that the meetings are time sensitive and will cut off abruptly once the allotted time is reached; this is a function of the software and cannot be controlled by participants.
