Marlow 5 Road Race: Marlow Milers

Help towards FOGMS fundraising by putting a pair of running shoes on to race in the 2020 Marlow 5 Road Race, for, despite being in May, it’s fast approaching.

It’s that time of year when many people are feeling motivated to become fit, if that is you why not have a goal in mind for your new year resolution! FoGMS are co-ordinating a group of runners of all abilities to join together to run the Marlow 5 Road Race on Sunday 10 May 2020.

Traditionally Team GMS – known as the Marlow Milers –  have done a fantastic job, both in terms of raising funds, and in winning the “sport and social team” category for their running efforts on the day.

So, if you fancy taking up the challenge, why not start off with downloading the free ‘Couch to 5K app’, a program designed for complete beginners to build up fitness to be able to run 5K in 9 weeks.
