For ONE DAY only, GMS are supporting an Anti Bullying initiative called, “Odd Socks Day”. On Tuesday 12th November, the school is asking students, staff and wider members of the school community to wear odd socks to celebrate that being different is something to be joyful about and not something to be bullied over.
It is hoped that socks of all sorts will be worn with pride; this small change to the school uniform will make a big impact in raising awareness of what it’s like to feel different. It’s hoped this small step will celebrate uniqueness in an unusual way, especially if enough GMS students, staff and members of the wider community join in.
