Book Fair in the School Library

Book Fair in the library 8th October to 22nd October.

The Scholastic book company are coming to the library for 2 weeks with a selection of books for the students to peruse.

It is a good opportunity for the children to get together and talk about books, swap recommendations and buy something to take home. Prices range from £2.99 for ‘Goodnight Mr Tom’ by Michelle Magorian (an old favourite) to ‘ The Sign of Four ‘ by Sir AC Doyle £5.99 on the GCSE syllabus.

A story is a window into someone else’s world, you peek inside another’s life and see how things turn out for them. Adventure books, comedies and sheer flights of fancy are on offer to keep readers entertained and allow an insight into a different life. Books will be available to buy before school at 8am, break and after school.
