Enrol for 6th Form 2019

Many Year 11 students have expressed an interest to join the Sixth Form at GMS, for the academic year beginning September 2019. In order to do so, they have to register on one of the dates listed below, in the Sixth Form Centre.

Thursday 22nd August – GCSE Results Day from 10am-3pm
Friday 23rd August from  9am – 1pm
Tuesday 27th August from  9am – 1pm

Enrolment days are typically very busy, to facilitate a speedy process the Sixth Form team ask students to prepare by doing the following:

• Read the online Sixth Form Prospectus to ensure that the entry criteria for each subject area has been met.
• Bring all GCSE certification, so that all examination grades can be confirmed.

GMS do all that they can to accommodate all students who apply, but, inevitably, some subject areas will have a capacity that cannot be exceeded, in such cases, students who meet the entry criteria will be allocated those places first.

Much work has been done to ensure that the option blocks meet the needs of the Year 11 students. Despite that, unavoidable clashes may occur.
