Extended by 24 Hrs: Purchase of One to One Laptops

As highlighted by Mr Ford in his Year 9 Options Evening presentation, as well as via the leaflets distributed at the Year 9 Parents’ Evening Great Marlow School is delighted to announce the launch of a new One to One laptop scheme for current Year 9 students going into Year 10 (academic year September 2019/20).

Having access to the latest technology, when and where it is required, benefits students enormously. Great Marlow School is a place where opportunities are created, potential is realised and excellence is achieved, and to help students on this journey parents and carers are being offered an amazing laptop at a very competitive price.

This exciting scheme allows parents to purchase a hybrid laptop/tablet device through Freedom Tech (chosen by GMS as the preferred partner). You can choose to pay in fixed monthly instalments  (based on a 12 or 24 month term), or via a one off cash payment. This allows us to distribute a very powerful laptop at a much reduced cost to RRP with 3 years full warranty and accidental cover. Other benefits include:

At this time, in order to enable subjects and teachers to plan lessons that utilise these device we are only rolling out to students who will be starting their GCSEs in September 2019. We will communicate in the future if we plan to extend the programme to other year groups and/or groups of students.
