Year 7 Parents’ Evening

GMS would like to invite the parents and carers of Year 7 to a Parents’ Evening on Thursday 27th June 2019, between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm. This is an important evening and that provides parents and carers with an opportunity to meet with your child’s subject teachers and discuss their progress.

The school uses an online appointment booking system. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments.

Please note that when you are making appointments for science it is under Integrated Science.

Appointments can be made from Thursday 13th June at 19.00 until Thursday 20th June at 15.00. Should you wish to make changes after this date please contact the school office.

It is important that all appointments made are printed or saved to a mobile device, for reference during the evening.

If there is no internet access, please contact the school office and appointments will be made on your behalf.

GMS are conscious that 34 slots for each member of staff means that sometimes parents and carers are disappointed, due to there being no further appointment slots available. In such cases, please add your name to the waiting list for that member of staff; if an appointment becomes available the teacher will make contact to let you know. Alternatively, staff will be in touch, either before or after 21st June, to discuss the progress of your son or daughter.

Despite increasing the number of parking spaces on site, there is still limited parking for these large events and, therefore, if you are able to walk please do so.
