Important Information for Parents & Carers

During registration on Tuesday morning (19th March), we shared with our students, the very sad news that one of our Year 12 students had died the day before, Monday. The police are dealing with this tragic event; they are not treating it as suspicious, but there is an ongoing investigation. In light of this and, importantly, to respect the family’s request for privacy, students and the whole school community are being asked to act with the utmost discretion.

After sharing this news, form tutors reminded students how they could access support in school both during the day and ongoing. If you have any concerns regarding your child’s current wellbeing do not hesitate to contact us at school.

In addition, there are a number of external agencies that specialise in supporting children and adults during difficult times, details of which are attached here.
