Amnesty Youth Group
The GMS Amnesty Youth Group visited Spinfield School on Thursday 21st June to mark Refugee Week. Students from Year 8 and Year 10 gave an assembly to the Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils about refugees, beginning with an activity where the pupils had to imagine they had three minutes to pack their bags: what would they take with them?
The Amnesty Youth Group campaigns to protect human rights around the world and for all human beings to be treated with dignity and respect.
The GMS Amnesty group meet regularly and would welcome new members.
