On Tuesday 19th June, Year 12, Level 3, Childcare Students visited the Children’s Outpatients Ward at Wycombe Hospital, accompanied by Mrs Seeley and Mrs Pendlebury.
On arrival at the ward, the students were met by Play Specialist, Nicola Ruff.

Great Marlow student, Chloe Tanner, said, “It was eye-opening, it gave us a real insight into another career. I liked the idea of dogs visiting the ill children, this was called, ‘Pets as Therapy’. Also, we were given the chance to try out the numbing cream and freeze spray that children have before a cannula.”
