Reports Yr11, Yr12 & Yr13

The form tutors of the Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 cohorts  have been given their Progress Reports by tutors.

The Year 11 reports show, “Areas For Development (AFD)” These give guidance to parents and carers as to what areas the staff are working on to help and support progress. They show the areas where the student has to focus their attention.

The  “Attitude To Learning (ATL)” category indicates the areas where a student’s work ethic is judged to be: excellent, good, inconsistent or poor.

Finally, the predicted grade conveys how the student has progressing academically, since the last reporting session.

The Year 12 and 13 reports show an end of year target. This is the grade staff think the student should attain by the end of the course of study, based on their average KS4 point score.

The predicted grade is what teachers predict a student to achieve at the end of their course of study if they continue to work as they are. In addition, there is a refined prediction that indicates their position within the grade.

There are Areas for Development and Attitude to Learning, too, which give parents and carers an overall picture of the progress and work ethic of their child.
